The Old Post Marble Installation

In 1991, the New Mexico Military Institute celebrated its Centennial Year with the unveiling of a marble installation of "The Old Post" in Bronco Plaza, dedicated by Cadet Regimental Commander Andras M. Marton. After 33 years, wear began to show, prompting the decision, with Col. Marton's assistance, to replace it. The project cost $8,800.
